William J. Harrigan
Since his first scuba dive in 1964,
Bill Harrigan has made thousands of dives
from Alaska to Australia. His interest in
underwater photography began in college,
where he combined a marine biology degree
from Yale University with studies in
photography and art. He made his first two
underwater camera housings by hand,
learning the craft from personal
experience and advice from pioneers in the
field.
